FCICA convention to take place in Savannah in 2012

Many wholesale flooring experts know that one of the best places to gain inside knowledge on the industry is through a convention. Not only do these events provide additional learning opportunities, but they give more professionals the chance to network and expand their business endeavors.

Recently, the Flooring Contractors Association (FCICA) announced that it will be holding its 2012 convention in Savannah, Georgia, between March 11 and 14, according to Floor Covering News. This event will mark the 30th anniversary of FCICA.

"FCICA has become known to offer one of the best convention venues for commercial flooring contractors," Kimberly Oderkirk, executive vice president, told the news source. "This year will be another great one."

Although the educational workshops have not been officially announced, organizers intend to make them centered around the concept of "back to basics." The goal will be to help professionals fine-tune their natural skills in the industry.
